2011 Clubs Victoria Achievement Awards

On Sunday the 27th of November the Board of Directors and members of staff attended the Clubs Victoria Achievement awards at the Crown Palladium.

We were nominated in 8 categories which were:

“The Golden Pot Award” – This award is for the best cellared and presented beer.
WINNER!!!  It’s official! We serve the best beer in the state!

“Sporting Club of the year” – Finalist

“Club Employee of the year” – Finalist, Nicole Bunworth

“Community Service” – Finalist

“Best Gaming Venue – 50 machines or less” –Finalist

“Metropolitan Club of the year” – Finalist

“Club Person of the year” – WINNER!! – Darren Hellmann

“Club Manager of the year” – WINNER!! – George Csifo

A great night was had by all and my personal congratulations go to Peter Breadmore for his dedication to ensuring our win for the Golden Pot award,
Nicole Bunworth on being a finalist in the Club Employee category and Darren Hellmann for his much deserved win in the Club Person of the year award.

September 2011 Newsletter

A fair bit has been happening here since the last newsletter including the announcement by our Operations Manager, Sharon Grech, of her pregnancy. We wish her and her partner Rick all the very best in the future.

A lot of you are aware that we will have new change room facilities built in 2012 and we are well down the track with council on the layout of the facility.

Council have approved $1.512 million to be spent on the project and, in addition, HCSC is dedicating nearly $2 million which will cover off the facility and extensive parking…
